Martijn Jasper

Martijn Jasper, as a Director at Vialegis, mainly focuses on the mediation of legal counsels, lawyers and notaries, from medior and senior positions to General Counsel positions and partner positions.

Martijn is energized by connecting people and acting as a sparring partner for candidates in making the right career decisions. By listening sincerely and carefully and actively thinking along, Martijn is of added value to candidates and clients. His own legal background in private practice and as an in-house legal counsel in international business help him to put himself in the shoes of his candidates and clients.

Before Martijn made the transition to the recruitment of legal professionals, Martijn worked as an attorney-at-law for about 9 years in the field of general corporate law, real estate law and was active as a receiver in bankruptcies.

Subsequently Martijn worked for several years as a Senior Legal Counsel and Head Legal a.i. at the Dutch branch of HP, one of the largest American technology companies. Martijn changed course in 2017, because he is ultimately more interested in people and business than in law. Prior to his move to Vialegis, Martijn worked for more than 5.5 years as a consultant at another renowned recruitment agency in the field of Legal, Tax and Compliance.

Characteristic for Martijn are his sincere interest and involvement with people, carefulness, his eye for quality and his informal interaction with candidates and clients.
